Award
Touché is 1 of the 10 finalists of the Global Pluralism Award!
Touché has been selected as one of 10 finalists for the Global Pluralism Award. This award recognises and celebrates individuals, organisations and governments of all nationalities who are actively shaping inclusive and diverse societies with positive responses to diversity.
At Touché, we transform the energy of aggression into positivity, growth and meaningful change. We believe that every individual, regardless of their current or past circumstances or experiences, has the potential to manage conflict and contribute their unique skills and perspectives to society.
"The creativity, courage and dedication demonstrated by this year's finalists is so important right now," said Meredith Preston McGhie, Secretary General of the Global Centre for Pluralism. "At a time when global polarisation is only increasing, it is important that we pay extra attention to the impact of pluralist leaders who create communities that are inclusive, peaceful and where diversity is valued. I hope these examples encourage us all to do the same and take action."
Jury chair, Dr Marwan Muasher of Carnegie Endowment for International Peace and former foreign minister and deputy prime minister of Jordan: "The Award finalists have made exceptional contributions to promote pluralism in some of the world's most difficult situations. They are making their communities stronger by working to build a foundation of mutual respect, cooperation and shared goals."
