Soldiers of Love

We are launching a new form of positive, everyday activism. For it is high time to redefine activism and, above all, to reclaim its positive power. We do this by rewriting together the rules of how we can and want to live well together today. Together does not mean we have to think the same about everything, or that we all have to be perfect superheroes.

The book Soldiers of Love brings 12 stories of a motley crew of people who each get angry in their own unique way and take us through how, with a lot of imagination, they can sculpt a realistic, hopeful and collective future. And take pride in the fact that they don't know everything either.

On 25 October, we will not only introduce the book and these Soldiers to you, we will immediately knit a series of new stories with all those who will join us that evening. After all, we became quite adept at tracking down Soldiers of Love in many colours and guises. We anticipate an evening of well-chosen words, music, images, stories, drinks and ideas to present that positive everyday activism in full force and turn it into action.

Come celebrate with us!

On Friday evening, 25 October, we will hold the book Soldiers of Love over the baptismal font and immediately celebrate the birth of a new army with a motley crew of Soldiers of Love. A warm welcome to the Madonna hall in Ghent. Buy your tickets for this evening here.
